SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Exam is conducted by SBI for the recruitment of candidates in Clerical cadre in different branches across the country. SBI Clerk is one the most prestigious bank exam in today times as large number of vacancies are released by SBI and huge number of candidates appear every year for the exam.

SBI Clerk Exam consists of two levels and that is Prelims and Mains. To move further in the process one must crack and clear the Preliminary exam in order to give the Mains Examination. Point to be noted here is that no interview process is required in order to get selected in Clerical Cadre and 100 % weightage will be given to Mains Exam for final selection.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the SBI Clerk Exam:
AGE LIMIT
The candidate must not be below 20 years and above 28 years as on 01-Januray of that particular year. The final criteria for SBI Clerk Exam is released every year and SBI reserves the right to change it.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.
